WYOMING COUNTY/Quick action by homeowner limits damage to home in Orangeville

Fire crews from Warsaw, Varysburg, Silver Springs and Gainesville responded to 3606 Grohs Road, in Town of Orangeville on Sunday afternoon for the reported structure fire about 3:13p.m.

After discovering a fire in the ceiling and calling Wyoming County 911, the owners quick action limited
the damage to the home.

According to Wyoming County Emergency Services, an overheated wood stove vent pipe was the cause of the fire. Damages were estimated at $10,000.00.

No injuries were reported

Fire Departments were on scene for 1-1/2 hrs.
