State Police confirm they are investigating an incident that occurred on Friday, November 29th on the NYS Thruway exit 48/Batavia ramp at Oak Street, where a female in her 40s exited a moving vehicle. It is unknown how or why the woman exited the moving vehicle.
Trooper James O’Callaghan says the woman was found unresponsive in the roadway at about 10:45am. She was transported to Strong Hospital via Mercy Flight.
No other information is being released at this time as the investigation is currently ongoing.
