Assemblyman Steve Hawley presented the Viking Valhalla Restaurant and Rose Garden Bowl with a certificate for its designation on the NYS Historic Business Preservation Registry on Wednesday afternoon. The Viking Valhalla was founded by Mary and Pierson “Doc” Sardou in September of 1954 and has been a staple of the community for the last 70 years.
