Warsaw, New York, January 2, 2025, Wyoming County Community Health System (WCCHS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Perry as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective January 1, 2025. With a wealth of rural health care, Critical Access Hospital experience and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, Jeff is poised to lead WCCHS into its next phase of growth and financial stability.
Jeff is a native of Oklahoma and brings over 22 years of experience in healthcare management, having served in many leadership roles including Chief Nursing Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and most recently as CEO at Amberwell Health in Kansas. Jeff has a proven record of improving operational efficiency, fostering community partnerships, and enhancing overall patient experiences.
Mr. Perry began his medical career while serving in the US Army from 1992 to 1999 where he achieved the rank of Seargent and served as an Active-Duty Combat Medic and Nurse. After completing his military service, he obtained his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing and his Doctorate in Health Administration. Jeff is a recognized leader among executives in healthcare management as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Jeff Perry is committed to continuing the health systems legacy while embracing opportunities for innovation in healthcare delivery. “WCCHS has been a cornerstone of this community,” said Perry. “I am honored to be joining such a dedicated team and look forward to building on the successes, enhancing patient outcomes, and expanding services to meet the growing healthcare needs of the communities WCCHS serves.”
Jeff also has a history of community involvement with organizations such as rotary, big brothers/big sisters, and other charitable organizations and is looking to get involved in Wyoming County. Jeff and his wife were house hunting in the area in December. They reached an agreement to purchase a home and have already relocated to the area.
