The Elmira Impact and Hershey Cubs will hit the ice at the David McCarthy Ice Arena beginning at 1:35 today with the Premier level players and then at 5:55pm, the Impact Elite level players will play.
The Elmira Impact and Hershey Cubs Premier and Elite teams played at the David McCarthy Ice Arena on Saturday afternoon in the first round of games. The Premier level Elmira Impact team came up short to the Cubs 3-2 in overtime. The Elite level Impact team won 4-3.

The USPHL is a tier 3 Junior Hockey league where players are scouted by tier 2 leagues, NCAA and ACHA hockey programs. Players in the league are 16-20 years old.
The Elmira Impact are in their 5th season and have had over 100 players from 10 countries come through the region to advance their hockey careers. Impact alumni are currently playing in NCAA D-1, D-3, AHCA college hockey along with the USHL, NAHL and NCDC junior hockey.
