On 1/6/2025, Amber Heisler, no age or address provided, of Warsaw, NY, was arrested and charged with Welfare Fraud in the Third Degree, a class D felony and 5 counts of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the First Degree, a class E felony.
An investigation was conducted, and it was found that Heisler allegedly obtained more
than $13,000 in SNAP benefits that she was not entitled to receive from January 2022 to January 2025.
The investigation determined that Heisler allegedly provided false information to obtain these
benefits. She was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Warsaw Village Court on 1/20/2025.

On 1/7/2025, following a traffic stop on Curriers Road for known suspensions, Christopher S. McGonigle,
33, of Arcade, NY, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the
Third Degree.
McGonigle was showing to have two active suspensions on his driver’s license. He was processed roadside and issued an appearance ticket and is due back in the Town of Java Court on 01/15/25.

The Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office arrested Iryna Yakymets,19, of Paris, NJ, following a traffic stop
on Route 20A in Varysburg on January 6, 2025.
Deputies were alerted to a vehicle traveling west on Route 20A with a possible suspended registration. While on patrol, the suspected vehicle was observed, and a traffic stop was conducted.
During the traffic stop it was found the vehicle was currently suspended in New York for
insurance not in effect. Yakymets was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle while
suspended and was issued citations for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration,
operating without insurance, tinted windows and uninspected motor vehicle.
Yakymets is to answer the charges on February 17, 2025 at 6:00 PM in the Town of
Sheldon court.

Sadam Nagi, 41, of Lackawanna, NY was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 20A in the
Town of Orangeville on December 30, 2024. Nagi was stopped for failure to keep right.
While speaking with Nagi, deputies observed alleged signs of impairment. Nagi was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he performed poorly. Nagi was taken to the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office for a drug influence evaluation. In the Drug recognition expert’s opinion, Nagi was allegedly impaired by drugs and was unable to operate a motor vehicle safely.
Nagi was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs along
with other Vehicle and Traffic Law infractions. Nagi was released on appearance tickets and is set to appear in Orangeville Town Court on January 15, 2025.

Jeffrey Foote Jr., 40, of Mount Morris, was arrested following a traffic stop on Lamont Road in
the Town of Pike on December 27, 2024.
Foote was observed operating an uninspected Ford pickup truck in the Town of Pike. After a roadside interview, deputies discovered that Foote had been operating the vehicle with a suspended New York State driver’s license.
Foote is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree and operation of an uninspected motor vehicle.
Foote was issued an appearance ticket on all charges and was advised to return to the Town of Pike Court at a later date.

Singh Harshdeep, 31, of Ontario, Canada was arrested following a traffic stop on Bauer Road in
the Town of Warsaw on December 21, 2024.
Singh was observed operating a tractor trailer traveling west on Route 20A. Singh then turned off into a posted truck turnaround then continued to travel on Adams Road before turning left onto Bauer Road.
After a roadside interview, deputies discovered that Singh had been operating a tractor trailer with a suspended driver’s license in New York State due to multiple pending traffic tickets.
Singh is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, disobeying a traffic control device, and overlength on a non-qualifying highway. Singh was issued an appearance ticket on all charges and was advised to return to the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date.

On December 15, 2024 at approximately 1:00 am, a deputy from the Wyoming County
Sheriff’s Office initiated a traffic stop on Rt. 20A in the Town of Orangeville.
The driver was identified as Devon S. Edwards, 30, of Jacksonville, Fla. A DMV check showed Edwards’s license was suspended in NYS since March of 2019. Edwards was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree.
Edwards was processed roadside and issued an appearance ticket. Edwards is to appear at Orangeville Town Court at a later date.

Following a traffic stop for unsafe passing in the Town of Sheldon, Sunny L. McMullen, 46,
of Brooklyn, NY, was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree.
McMullen had one active suspension on his license. McMullen was processed
roadside and issued an appearance ticket and appeared in the Town of Sheldon Court on 12/30/24.

Ronald A. Townsend, 73, of Wyoming, NY, was arrested following a traffic stop at a local business
on Route 19 in the Town of Warsaw on December 16, 2024. Townsend was observed operating a UTV while having a known revoked driver’s license for multiple DWI convictions.
Townsend was charged with unregistered motor vehicle, unlicensed operator, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd degree, and aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd degree. Townsend was issued appearance tickets on all charges and will appear in the Town of Warsaw Court at a later date.
