The Genesee County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Dr. Ashely Mooney, DDS, to the City of Batavia on Wednesday afternoon with an official ribbon cutting.
Dr. Mooney, a Notre Dame H.S. graduate, originally from Le Roy, has been in private practice for several years and decided to move closer to home. Mooney has been open since the beginning of June 2024 and has taken over for Dr. Robert S. Marchese’s office at 214 East Main Street. Dr. Mooney graduated from Niagara University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She also was involved in honors research. Dr. Mooney attended SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine and completed a General Practice Residency at ECMC with a focus on Oral Oncology. She also received extensive training in the area of medically compromised patients. Dr. Mooney is also a “Pankey” dentist after studying at the Pankey Insititute in Florida, which focuses on patient-centered comprehensive care involving TMJ, cosmetic dentistry and integrating oral health with systemic health.
