On 1/15/2025, Brevin J. Mast, 27, of Batavia, NY was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree and two counts of Menacing 2nd degree. It’s alleged that Mast threatened two people during an incident on Trumbull Pkwy. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in court at a later date.
On 1/9/2025, Michael J. Difalco, 37, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 1st degree, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree, and Harassment 2nd degree. Difalco was arrested after police responded to a disturbance on South Main St., where Difalco allegedly violated on order of protection. Difalco then allegedly fled on foot when officers attempted to take him into custody. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in court on 1/30/2025.

On 1/15/2025, Julie L. Dutton, 29, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. It’s alleged that Dutton stole merchandise from Tops. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1/28/2025.

On 1/9/2025, Joseph W. Freeman, 40, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Trespass. Freeman allegedly trespassed at the Budget Inn on Oak St. after previously being told he was not allowed on the property. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1/28/2025.

On 1/9/2025, Joseph Hagen, 41, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Hagen was arrested after an investigation into a motor vehicle accident on Highland Park, where Hagen allegedly struck several objects. He was issued traffic tickets and released. He is due in court on 1/28/2025.

On 1/11/2025, Sean M. Conway, 47, of Batavia, NY was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. Conway allegedly stole merchandise from Harbor Freight on 12/17/2024. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released. He is due back in court at a later date.

On 1/9/2025, Michael R. Marchese, 34, of Honeoye Falls, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. The arrest stems from an incident on 11/6/2024, when Marchese was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle accident. It’s alleged that Marchese drove off the roadway, striking a tree, a light pole and another vehicle, before leaving the scene. He was issued numerous traffic tickets and is due in court on 1/29/2025.
