On 1/21/2025, Malachi J. Nix, 20, of Tonawanda, NY, was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd degree, Grand Larceny 3rd degree, Criminal Mischief 3rd degree, and Conspiracy 4th degree.

It’s alleged that on 5/27/2024, Nix and another person broke into Barrett’s Batavia Marine and stole numerous firearms. Nix was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. He is due back in court on 2/18/2025.

On 1/21/2025, Lakeisha A. Gibson, 38, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. It’s alleged that Gibson punched another person multiple times during an altercation on Bank St. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 2/4/2025.

On 1/15/2025, Christina M. Cordes, 39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. It’s alleged that Cordes stole merchandise from Dollar General. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1/28/2025.

On 1/19/2025, Jennifer C. Moscicki, 48, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a warrant for Petit Larceny. Moscicki allegedly stole property from another person on Central Ave. in January of 2022. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. She is due back in court at a later date.

On 1/20/2025, Julie L. Dutton, 29, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. Dutton allegedly used a counterfeit one-hundred-dollar bill to receive change at a local business. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 2/4/2025.

On 1/16/2024, Donovan I. Reese, 18, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing. Reese allegedly grabbed another person and applied pressure to their neck during an altercation on Sumner St. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1/28/2025.

On 1/16/2025, Thomas J. Mitchell, 35, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Mitchell was allegedly found in possession of cocaine on 11/8/2024 while he was being arrested on an unrelated matter. Mitchell was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1/28/2025.

On 1/12/2025, Hailee N. Callicutt, 24, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on three warrants. Two of the warrants are related to traffic stops where she was charged with misdemeanor traffic violations. She was also charged with Bail Jumping 3rd degree. Callicutt was arraigned in CAP Court and released. She is due back in court at a later date.

On 1/17/2025, Jacob J. Frayne, 27, of Darien, NY, was arrested on a warrant. Frayne allegedly failed to appear in court on a DWI case. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released. He is due in Batavia City Court at a later date.
