BATAVIA/Rotary Corvette Raffle winner announced

BATAVIA -The Batavia Rotary Club has announced the winners of their annual Corvette raffle. A Longtime supporter of this major fundraiser and fellow Rotarian Ross Hatfield of Milford, Connecticut was the grand prize winner. Ross has the option of choosing a 2025 Corvette or a $60,000 cash prize.

The drawing was held during a Facebook live broadcast from Batavia Country Club on January 17th.

John Hughes from Basting Ridge, NJ

Jason Douglas from Summit, MS
Karie Credi from Oakfield, NY
Robbie Nichols from Corning, NY

Corvette raffle co-chairs Lisa Ormsbee and Laurie Mastin said the real winners are the many community partners that receive financial support from the Batavia Rotary Club. A $250,000 multi-year pledge assisted in construction of the YMCA/UMMC Healthy Living Center Project. These funds also supported the expansion of the cardiac care unit at UMMC.

Proceeds from the raffle also allows the Rotary Club to annually award four area high school students a total of $18,000 in scholarships.
