On Friday, January 24, 2025, Anna L. Holland, 38, of Arcade, NY, pleaded guilty before the Honorable Donald G. O’Geen to the following charges, rape in the 3rd degree, 7 counts of endangering the welfare of a child and 5 counts of unlawfully dealing with a child 1st degree
The defendant rejected the District Attorney’s plea offer and pleaded guilty to the indictment unconditionally (i.e. there was no sentence promise by the District Attorney). The maximum sentence under the indictment is four years in NYS Prison with ten years of post-release supervision.
Holland admitted that in the summer of 2024, she engaged in sexual intercourse with a child under the age of 17. She also admitted to providing alcoholic beverages to a number of children under the age of 17.
Sentencing was adjourned until April 10, 2025, and the defendant, who was out on bail, was released to the pre-trial release program.
Holland was arrested by the Arcade Police Department on August 23, 2024.
