
On February 6, 2025, at about 12:51p.m., the Batavia Emergency Response Team, consisting of members of the Batavia Police Department and Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at a residence on Lockport Road in the Town of Alabama.
In the execution of the search warrant, Marc Christopher James Cook Sr., no age provided, was arrested on eight separate arrest or bench warrants stemming back to 2021.
The warrants are as follows:
–Alabama Town Court – Bench Warrant — Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree
Previous Conviction (D Felony), Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th (E Felony)
–Alabama Town Court – Arrest Warrant — Bail Jumping 2nd (E Felony)
–Alabama Town Court — Arrest Warrant — Criminal Possession of a Controlled
Substance 7th degree (A Misdemeanor)
–Batavia City Court — 3 Arrest Warrants — Bail Jumping 3rd degree (A Misdemeanor)
–Batavia City Court — Bench Warrant — Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (A Misdemeanor), Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree (A Misdemeanor)
–Genesee County Family Court — Arrest Warrant — Violation of Family Court Act
Cook was arraigned at Genesee County Centralized Arraignment Part Court on February 6th and was held without bail at the Genesee County Jail following arraignment. He will reappear at the respective courts at a later date.

Nathan L. Dunn, 20, of Prospect Ave., Medina, NY, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, driving a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more, DWI, drinking alcohol in a vehicle, unregistered motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle without financial security, after a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot at Batavia Downs on Park Road on February 2, 2025 at 12:15a.m.
Deputies say Dunn was allegedly operating a motor vehicle in an intoxicated condition.
Dunn was released on appearance tickets and will appear in Batavia Town Court on March 6, 2025, at 1:00p.m.

Chad M. Winkelman, 32, of Fullington Road, Attica, NY, is charged with aggravated DWI/PER SE with a BAC of .18% or more, DWI, drinking alcohol or using cannabis in a motor vehicle on a highway and moving from a lane unsafely on Sandpit Road in Alexander on February 2, 2025, at 11:42p.m.
Deputies say Winkelman was allegedly operating his vehicle while intoxicated by alcohol. He was arrested and transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing.
Winkelman was released with Uniform Traffic tickets and will appear in the Town of Alexander Court on February 18, 2025 at 5:00p.m.
