WYOMING COUNTY SHERIFF’S REPORT/March 11, 2025

On March 4th, 2025, at around 8:16a.m., a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office was
patrolling westbound on State Route 354 in the Town of Attica, when another vehicle was
observed also traveling westbound. A random registration check showed the vehicle’s
registration was suspended for an insurance lapse and a vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was
conducted near the Attica Village Line.

The driver, Daniel S. Vanderkooi, 36, of Attica, NY, was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Registration.

Vanderkooi was processed roadside and released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled
to appear in the Attica Town Court at a later date.

On March 4th, 2025, at around 11:22a.m., a deputy with the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office
was patrolling southbound on Route 238 in the Town of Attica, when another vehicle was
observed traveling northbound with an expired NYS inspection.

A vehicle and traffic enforcement stop was conducted near Nesbitt Road and the driver was identified as Charles A. Cliff III, 51, of Spencerport, NY.

Following a roadside investigation, Cliff was ultimately arrested and charged with Aggravated
Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 3rd Degree and Uninspected Motor Vehicle.

Cliff was processed roadside and released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Attica Town Court at a later date.

On March 5th, 2025, at approximately 10:42a.m., the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a possible violation of a stay away order of protection.

Deputy Rudolph responded and found Linda George, 57, of Sheldon, NY on location and was
the restricted party of an order of protection. It was found that George had allegedly violated the Order of Protection and was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 2nd degree.

George was arraigned and released on her own recognizance with a return date to Sheldon Court in March 2025.

Jennifer Kraft, 42, of Batavia, NY, was arrested following a traffic stop on Route 98 in the Town of Java on February 23, 2025.

Kraft was observed to be operating a Buick in the Town of Java, with a suspended New York State driver’s license.

Kraft was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 3rd degree. She was issued an appearance ticket and was advised to return to the Town of Java Court at a later date.
