GENESEE COUNTY/Byron family collecting items for West Viginia flood victims

Brad Liles and Nicole Kulzer along with their son Draven are collecting items for flood victims in West Virgina. Governor Patrick Morrisey declared a state of emergency for thirteen West Virginia counties on February 16th after heavy rains and flooding.

Liles and Kulzer have already made one trip to West Virginia after collecting nonperishable food items and personal hygiene items along with kid’s items, infant items, bottled water, and geriatric items.

“The areas we visited are some of the poorest neighborhoods. The residents down there are such loving people and their unwavering faith is remarkable which is why we’re doing this again,” says Kulzer.

“The children in this area may very well go without Easter goodies this year. People have nothing. No homes, cars, or money. They have their faith and that’s why I am trying to get Easter goodies down to the kids who could really use a little extra Easter cheer.”
