The Batavia Police Department is committed to ensuring the safety of our community’s roads and highways. In 2024, we continued to prioritize traffic safety through proactive enforcement and education. Some notable accomplishments and initiatives from the past year include Investigating 493 reportable crashes, demonstrating our dedication to thorough and efficient incident response. Conducting 3,207 traffic stops, which helped to identify and address potential safety risks on our roads. Handling 1,749 parking incidents, ensuring that our community’s parking areas remain safe and accessible.
