GLOW YMCA had an amazing amount of swim team members qualify for the New York State YMCA Swimming Championship. The competition took place from March 21-23, 2025, at the Webster Aquatic Center in Webster, NY.
The New York State YMCA Qualification times were lowered this past year. This did not stop these local swimmers from tackling the new time standards. The team had 88 individual entries as well as 10 relay entries.
The team had a very successful meet with many time drops and had three State Champions in their events, Reilly Davis, Connor Dervin, and Lockerbie Newton.
Lily Bellamy, Sarah Pritchett, Robert Hofmann, Wyatt Fisher, Keira Sidari, Tori Davis, and Willow Gaines all made it to the 11 and over night finals in their events, placing them in the Top 16.
Other Top 16 finishers in the 10 and under group included McKenzie Dosch, Nevada Newton, and Sebastian Countermine. The relay teams of Nevada Newton, Anna Pritchett, McKenzie Dosch, Reilly Davis, Sebastian Countermine, Lockerbie Newton, Connor Dervin, Ezra Kelley, Isla Currier-Dunton, Rowan Kelley, Sarah Pritchett, Lily Bellamy, Addison Winters, Willow Gaines, Kim Piorun, and Rose Reisdorf were all in the Top 10.
The GLOW YMCA Swim Team is coached by Jen Pritchett, Emily Hirsch, Danielle Dosch, Andrew Fisher, and McKenna Shuskey.
