Peter Flanagan won his American Kickboxing Pro Title Bout with a TKO halfway through the first round on Saturday night at the Cove in Depew, NY, with a kick to the body against RJ Hayes of Red Creek.
Congratulations to the 36-year-old Super Heavyweight Champ who is also a City of Batavia Firefighter, and owner of First Response MMA, located above Borrell’s Gym at 232 Ellicott Street.
Batavian Max Shaver (155-pound class) who trains at First Response MMA, lost his bout to Rob Smith. “He got rocked early in the round and made an incredible comeback,” says Flanagan. “He got caught with a head kick on the very last second of the round and then the referee stopped the fight.”
