On August 11th<\/sup>, 2019, at around 2:40a.m., Officer Harding was patrolling on North Center Street when he observed a vehicle traveling southbound with an expired registration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A traffic stop was initiated on Standpipe Road and the driver was identified as Rachel E. Bennett, 36, of Perry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Officer Harding believed Bennett may be intoxicated and started a roadside DWI investigation. Following standardized field sobriety testing, Bennett was placed under arrested for driving while intoxicated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bennett was transported to the Perry Police Department where she was processed and charged with unregistered motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated, and driving with a BAC of 0.08% or more. She was released with appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Village of Perry Court at a later date. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
