Miller, 30, of Michele Drive, Rochester, N.Y., <\/strong>was pronounced dead at the scene by the Orleans County Coroner&#8217;s Office shortly before 10:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff\u2019s Office investigators are working with the Federal Aviation Administration in an attempt to determine the facts leading up to the incident that caused Miller&#8217;s tragic death.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation indicates that the main parachute had deployed, possibly improperly, and was located nearby, but was not connected to the victim.<\/p>\n<p>Many questions remain such as why the backup chute was not deployed by the jumper or why didn\u2019t it deploy automatically as it should have.<\/p>\n<p>Experts from the F.A.A. are examining the equipment and gear involved with this incident at their Rochester Office. Sheriff\u2019s Office investigators are continuing to interview witnesses and search for information on this case.
