On August 24, 2019, the Perry Police Department was called to a local business for a report of vehicle operator possibly intoxicated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Upon arrival, Officers Spink and Harding observed 29 year old Rachel Womer, of Perry, exit the business and further investigation showed Womer was possibly showing signs of impairment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A field sobriety test was then conducted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After performing poorly on the field test, Womer was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated. A breath test performed at the Perry Police Department showed Womer had a blood alcohol content of .17%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Further investigation revealed Womer operated the vehicle with two children under the age of 16. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Womer is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC higher than .08, two counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in the vehicle and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Womer was arraigned in Perry Village Court in front of Honorable Judge Miller. She was released and will return to court on September 17, 2019 at 1:00p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
