The Genesee County Drug Task Force along with the Batavia Emergency Response Team, Batavia Police Department and the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at an address on Pearl street in Batavia on August 29, 2019 at about 9:30p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The following people were charged in relation to the search warrant investigation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edwin Peart Jr., 36, of Brookridge Dr., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, class B felony, tampering with physical evidence, a class E felony, promoting prison contraband 1st, a class E felony, and obstructing governmental administration 2nd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peart was arraigned in City Court and held on no bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marc C. Cook Sr., 29, of Pearl St., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cook was issued appearance tickets to appear in City Court on September 17, 2019 at 1:00p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aamaje Z. Bell, 18, of Brooklyn St., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd, and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bell was issued appearance tickets and is to appear in Batavia City Court on September 17, 2019 at 1:00p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
