The Batavia Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant in West Main street road in Batavia on September 17, 2019, stemming from a joint narcotic investigation that was conducted by the Local Drug Task Force and the NYS Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the investigation, three people are facing charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scott E Hodgins, 55, of W. Main Rd., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, criminal possession of a weapon 4th, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd and unlawful possession of a marijuana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hodgins was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and held without bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kara B. Sass, 25, of W. Main Rd., Batavia, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd and unlawful possession of marijuana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sass was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and bail was set at $10,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heywood E. Wellington, 23, of Winterroth St., Rochester, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, a class B felony, criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, criminal use of drug paraphernalia 2nd and unlawful possession of marijuana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wellington was arraigned in the Town of Batavia Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
