Both driver&#8217;s were extricated from their vehicles. They were conscious and alert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the Sheriff&#8217;s Department, both suffered serious, but non life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Charges are pending against the driver of the pick up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UPDATE; According to a Sheriff&#8217;s Department accident report, Clayton T. Skye, 19, of Newfane, was the driver of the pick up and Donna M. Woodworth, 58, of Batavia, was the driver of the car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the report, Skye told deputies his left arm went numb and he lost control of his 2003 Chevy pick up. Woodworth stated she observed the pick up leave its lane of travel and she tried to avoid the collision by entering the fog line, but was unable to avoid the collision. Both drivers were injured in the accident and transported to area hospitals.
