Nine fire companies responded to 5622 Broughton road in the Town of Gainesville for a barn fire Friday afternoon about 1:51p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The barn, a 90’x180′ structure, was used to process manure and process feed and bedding for the farm animals at Broughton Farms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Estimated loss after the fire is 1 million dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
No one was injured in the blaze, the cause is still under investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Silver Springs, Castile, Gainesville, Perry, Perry Center, Bliss, Pike, Warsaw and North Java fire were on location for about 3.5 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
