A perimeter was then set up and the residents were told to shelter in place and Jackson School went into lockdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the 4 p.m. hour, students were released on buses and escorted by police to their residence if they lived on Liberty street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A warrant was obtained for the suspect&#8217;s arrest. He is currently charged with menacing according to Police Chief Shawn Heubusch. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police then pepper gassed the second story to try and flush the suspect out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The subject continued to go back and forth between windows looking to escape. At one point he was hanging out a window head first.
