Charles E. Cooper, 36, of W. Seneca St., Lodi, NY is charged with burglary 1st, robbery 1st, forcible theft with a dangerous instrument, and grand larceny 3rd, property exceeding $3,000, after he forced his way into a residence on Clinton street road in Stafford on November 5, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooper allegedly verbally threatened the homeowners with a dangerous instrument, a Crossman Duel Ammo full metal revolver pellet gun, and stole over $3,000 in cash from the residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is believed that Cooper was familiar with the residence and specifically targeted the residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, Cooper was arraigned in Stafford Town Court after being released from the hospital after he was shot by the homeowner during the incident on November 5, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is being held at the Genesee County Jail on $50,000 bail. Cooper will re-appear in Stafford Town Court on January 7, 2020 at 9:00a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
