Edward G. Ruckdeschel, 57, of Liberty St., Batavia was released from the Genesee County Jail last month after he initially was held without bail after he allegedly stole a vehicle from a parking lot in the City of Batavia on December 7, 2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After pleading not guilty to the charges of unauthorized use of a vehicle 2nd, grand larceny 4th and criminal possession of stolen property 4th, all class E felonies, he was released and was scheduled to re-appear in City Court on January 16, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On January 6, 2020, at about 5:30a.m., Ruckdeschel allegedly stole a vehicle from a residence in Orleans County and then proceeded to lead Genesee County deputies on a vehicle pursuit and foot pursuit that eventually ended in the Town of Wheatland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ruckdeschel is charged with criminal possession of stolen property 4th, obstruction of governmental administration 2nd, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, unauthorized stickers, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, no or inadequate head lamp, side windows non-transparent, failure to yield the right of way when entering the roadway and unregistered motor vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was issued appearance tickets and will appear in Bergen Town Court on the new charges in January 15, 2020 at 3:00p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
