At 1:30a.m. this morning, Deputy James Stack attempted to initiate a traffic stop of a 2016 Jeep Cherokee in the Town of Batavia for an expired registration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The operator then attempted to flee the deputy, resulting in a vehicle pursuit through the towns of Batavia, Oakfield, Village of Oakfield and Alabama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Suggs eventually stopped the vehicle on Lewiston road in the Town of Alabama where he was taken into custody without further incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jonathan F. Suggs, 37, of Lewiston Rd., Oakfield is charged with unregistered motor vehicle, failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle and speeding in a 55mph zone in the Town of Batavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the Town of Oakfield he is charged with unlawfully fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle 3rd, aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd, unlicensed operation, speeding in a 55mph zone, and speeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the Town of Alabama, Suggs is charged with failure to stop at a stop sign(2 counts), speeding in a 55mph zone, and speeding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Suggs will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on March 12, 2020 at 1:00p.m., The Town of Oakfield Court on March 2, 2020 at 6:00p.m. and the Town of Alabama Court on March 11, 2020 at 6:00p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
