{"id":14192,"date":"2020-02-20T11:36:59","date_gmt":"2020-02-20T16:36:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/?p=14192"},"modified":"2020-02-20T11:36:59","modified_gmt":"2020-02-20T16:36:59","slug":"nys-4-h-animal-crackers-registration-open","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/index.php\/2020\/02\/20\/nys-4-h-animal-crackers-registration-open\/","title":{"rendered":"NYS\/4-H Animal Crackers registration open"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Press release<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Batavia, NY \u2013 The Cornell University Department of Animal Science is pleased to announce Animal Crackers 2020, &#8220;Bovine, Sheep and Swine &#8211; How Divine!\u201d, on Saturday, May 2, 2020 on the Cornell University campus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s program will highlight dairy, beef, swine, and sheep topics.  4-H youth 9-12 years old or those with beginner to intermediate knowledge of the covered species are invited to participate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Interesting, educational, hands-on activities are planned to make Animal Crackers a memorable learning event.  Participants will have the opportunity to learn about dairy or livestock care, biology, and management while having fun participating in a variety of interactive activities with 4-H members from across New York State.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/VideoNewsService\/inbox\/?mailbox_id=359805904072367&amp;selected_item_id=100005310849743#\">$15<\/a> fee per youth to attend the program.  Adult chaperones are free and each group must have at least one chaperone.
