As of earlier today, Tuesday, April 28, the Wyoming County Health Department reports the following: There are sixty-four (64) lab-confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 among Wyoming County residents. This is an increase of one (1) case from Monday, April 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Northwest<\/strong> (*Attica, Bennington, Orangeville, Sheldon) 20 positive cases, 11 recoveries. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Southwest<\/strong> (Arcade, Eagle, Java, Wethersfield) 11 positive cases, 7 recoveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Southeast<\/strong> (Castile, Gainesville, Genesee Falls, Pike) 15 positive cases, 9 recoveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Northeast<\/strong> (Covington, Middlebury, Perry, Warsaw) 18 positive cases, 10 recoveries, 5 deaths. <\/p>\n\n\n\n TOTAL<\/strong>– 64 positive cases, 37, recoveries, 5 deaths <\/p>\n\n\n\n *Two (2) of the cases reported in the Northwest Quadrant are attributed to the Attica Correctional Facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Positive cases<\/strong>– 64<\/p>\n\n\n\n Negative cases<\/strong>-432* <\/p>\n\n\n\n (*The number of negative tests were overstated, 4\/27; corrected by the NYS Department of Health.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mandatory Isolation<\/strong>-22<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mandatory Quarantine<\/strong>-39<\/p>\n\n\n\n Precautionary Quarantine<\/strong>-3<\/p>\n\n\n\n Deaths<\/strong>-5<\/p>\n\n\n\n Recoveries<\/strong>– 37<\/p>\n\n\n\n Cumulative Age Breakdown<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Age 0-20(2), 20’s(13), 30’s(5), 40’s(12), 50’s(10), 60’s(12), 70’s(6), 80’s(3) 90+(1)<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Wyoming County Clerk\u2019s Office<\/strong> continues to be closed to the public until further notice. The Clerk\u2019s Office is processing essential court filings, daily mail, and real estate transactions are being done by appointment only. However, the County Clerk\u2019s Office is still not allowing in-office real estate closings. The DMV is still processing mail, handling drop box transactions, license plate surrenders, as well as assisting with dealer needs.
