This past October, he learned that the cancer had gone to his lungs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He is now under hospice care at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sterling is declining. This past weekend, he asked to begin seeing his family because he says that his body is shutting down. He has been losing weight rapidly, 7 pounds last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, sister Michelle and sister in law Robin organized a parade of love and support to surprise him on Saturday evening. During that game, he was able to meet Dominic Hasek.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">West Herr Auto Group also provided club seats for the Bills\/Broncos game November 24th. Sterling was able to experience his ultimate dream of meeting John Elway and shake hands with the entire Denver Broncos team as they came onto the field.
