Tesla R. Plantiko, 25, of Seven Springs Rd., Batavia, pleaded not guilty at her arraignment in Batavia Town Court on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Plantiko is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.<\/p>\n

She is accused of allowing her two small children outside without adult supervision or adequate clothing for weather conditions as temperatures were in the low 20’s.<\/p>\n

According to police, Plantiko was allegedly sleeping at the time of the incident which occurred on February 1, 2017 on West Main street road in Batavia.<\/p>\n

She was assigned a Public Defender in court on Monday and was released on recognizance. Her next court appearance is August 28, 2017 at 1:30p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
