Grayson B. Ground, 18, of Alabama, is charged with assault 2nd after allegedly striking a male in the face, causing him to suffer a broken jaw.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred on Shanks road in Alabama on June 24, 2017.<\/p>\n
Ground was arrested on June 27, 2017 and arraigned in the Alabama Town Court.<\/p>\n
He was released under the supervision of Genesee Justice.<\/p>\n
An order of protection was also issued.<\/p>\n

Chad A. Cooper, 21, of Emily Ct., Bergen, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th(three counts) after allegedly being found to be in possession of three kinds of controlled substances while at the Genesee County Courts Facility at 1 West Main street on June 27, 2017.<\/p>\n
Cooper was arraigned in City Court and jailed in lieu of $5,000 bail.<\/p>\n

Cody E. Carpenter, 24, of Rutgers St., Rochester, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more and speeding in a zone on Alleghany road in Darien on June 26, 2017.<\/p>\n
Carpenter was stopped after being observed with a vehicle and traffic violation.<\/p>\n
He was issued appearance tickets and will appear in the Town of Darien Court on July 18, 2017 at 4:00p.m.<\/p>\n

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a one vehicle crash that occurred early Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n
The Town of Batavia Fire Department responded to 2964 Batavia- Oakfield Townline Road, Town of Batavia, about 1:00a.m. for a pick up truck off the road in a ditch and smoking.<\/p>\n
According to the Town of Batavia Fire the pick up was about five feet down into the ditch resting on it’s side with heavy front end damage.<\/p>\n
The Sheriff’s Office says the 2009 Chevy Silverado was being operated by Kevin Veazey, 37,\u00a0 of Batavia-Oakfield Townline Road. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.<\/p>\n
He was transported to the hospital with possible serious injuries according to the Town of Batavia Fire Department.<\/p>\n
The Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate and charges are pending.<\/p>\n
