The Genesee and Orleans County Health Departments have received 6 more COVID-19 cases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Orleans<\/strong> has 4 new positive cases (bringing the total to 225) and Genesee<\/strong> has 2 (bringing the total to 188).<\/p>\n\n\n\n Contact tracing has been initiated and all who have had direct contact with the individuals will be notified by Health Department staff. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Three of the Orleans County individuals are residents of Orchard Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and one is a community resident. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The two individuals from Genesee County are both community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There is currently no further information to release on ages and location. Mapping to include the positive cases from the weekend will be updated on Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now that we are in Phase 2 we ask residents to continue social distancing, mask wearing, and proper hygiene even in the company of whom we trust the most- family, friends, and co-workers. We also ask residents to be respectful of the business owners and wear masks while you are in their establishment. If you are unable to wear a mask due to a medical condition, call the business and ask for curbside delivery.
