New Cases<\/strong> \u2013 Including the weekend numbers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 As of 2:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Genesee County<\/strong> received 4 new positive cases of COVID-19 for a total of 206 positive cases<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 The positive individuals reside in Alabama, Alexander, Batavia, and Elba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 One of the individuals is less than 20 years old, one individual is in their 20\u2019s, and two individuals are in their 30\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 The new positive cases were not on mandatory quarantine prior to testing positive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 1 of the previous community positive cases have recovered and have been released from mandatory isolation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 0 of the total active positive cases are hospitalized<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Orleans County<\/strong> received 2 new positive cases of COVID-19 today for a total of 256 positive cases<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 Two of the positive individuals reside in are residents of Orchard Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 One of the individuals is in their 30\u2019s, one of the individuals is in their 80\u2019s. \u00a7 1 of the previous community positive cases have recovered and have been released from mandatory isolation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a7 13 of the total active positive cases are hospitalized<\/strong>. Please note those in the hospital may be from the community or a state-regulated facility. We do not separate them out to protect their privacy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 We encourage everyone to remember to be polite and respect individual privacy. If you have a complaint about someone or a business use the appropriate channels provided by the state. Using social media to air your complaints and accusing individuals \/ businesses of wrong doing generally does nothing to fix the problem. Be compassionate of other people and spread kindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The facility breakdown is only showing the total positive cases from those facilities from where we received a positive swab for COVID-19. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Hospitals and group homes will be allowed to accept visitors at their discretion, while following guidelines including time-limited visits and requiring visitors to wear PPE and be subject to symptom and temperature checks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 The Governor has amended Executive Order 202.6 for determining whether a business enterprise is subject to a workforce reduction: https:\/\/esd.ny.gov\/guidance-executive-order-2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Phase 3 is open. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that in mind, everyone in Phase 3 should have developed and implemented their Business Safety Plan and have it in place prior to opening whether it be a business, house of worship, not-for-profit organization, etc. You are responsible to have your plan and all necessary supplies in place prior to opening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will not be submitting your plan, however it must be on the premises in the event of a state, local or safety inspection. Keep checking the New York Forward website for your industry\/organization summary guidelines. https:\/\/forward.ny.gov\/ <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00b7 Per Governor Cuomo gatherings (groups, assembly, meeting, etc.) of 25 or less are permitted with social distancing and sanitization protocols in place through July 15, 2020. https:\/\/www.governor.ny.gov\/news\/no-20242-continuing-temporary-suspension-and-modification-laws-relating-disaster-emergency The Health Departments do not authorize or allow exemptions from the Governor\u2019s orders. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
