BUFFALO, N.Y. – U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy, Jr. announced today that Alexander Seegar, 30, of Darien Center, NY, who was convicted of receipt of child pornography, was sentenced to serve 96 months in prison by Chief U.S. District Judge Frank P. Geraci, Jr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Assistant U.S. Attorney Aaron J. Mango, who handled the case, stated that Seegar, posing as a 16 or 17-year-old boy, was sexting 10-12 year old female students at a school in Niagara County. The defendant used the Instagram profile \u201cdavidlissachi\u201d to communicate with the girls and asked them for sexually explicit photos. Seegar also communicated with other minors between the ages of 10 and 15 and asked them to send him sexually explicit photos in exchange for pictures of male genitalia. The defendant was found in possession of numerous photos containing child pornography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sentencing is the result of an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Buffalo Office, under the direction of Special Agent-in Charge Stephen Belongia, and the Lewiston Police Department, under the direction of Chief Frank Previte.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
