Devon A. Wright,18, of Batavia, was arrested on two outstanding warrants, failure to pay a fine, original charges: harassment 2nd<\/sup>, grand larceny 4th<\/sup>, endangering the welfare of a child, attempted grand larceny 4th<\/sup>, and failure to appear, original charge: criminal contempt 2nd<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wright was observed traveling in a vehicle in the area of State Street by Officers Hedges and Borchert who are assigned to the area on a special NET detail. Wright was taken into custody by Officers Tucker, Hedges and Borchert on North Street without incident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned by City Court Judge Saleh at 9:55 P.M.on July 24, 2020 and remanded to the Genesee County Jail without bail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wright will appear in City Court at a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wright was arrested April 22nd for an incident on April 8, 2020 where Wright allegedly intentionally struck a pedestrian with his car.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following an investigation into sex abuse involving children under the age of 15, Wright was arrested on April 29, 2020 and charged with two counts of criminal sexual act 2nd, a class D felony, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child less than 17 and resisting arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
