Stevenson, 20, of Clarence, along with two passengers Samantha P. Kolbert, 18, of Cheektowaga and a 17 year old female, of Clarence, was headed south on Rt. 77 and was turning right into the entrance of Sprinkles Creamery Ice cream shop, when it was rear ended by the motorcycle. The collision ejected the motorcyclist, Travis R. Hartloff, 26, of Attica, and threw him into the middle of the road, where a third vehicle, also headed south, struck Hartloff in the road. The third vehicle then continued traveling south on Rt. 77 towards Corfu, leaving the scene.

Hartloff suffered serious injuries and was transported by Mercy Flight to ECMC. The occupants of the red Honda Pilot were not injured.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

The Genesee County Sheriff’s Department is looking for the third vehicle that left the scene of the accident. The vehicle is believed to be a Hyundai Sedan that has front end damage and damage to the undercarriage according to Sgt. Andrew Hale.

Anyone with information on the third vehicle can contact the Sheriff’s Office at 585-345-3000.

The crash is being investigated by Sgt.
