Barber, 55, of Perry,  was arrested following a joint investigation between the United States Border Patrol and the Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A United States Border Patrol helicopter pilot located cannabis plants growing within a vegetable garden behind Barber\u2019s residence on Silver Lake Road in the Town of Perry on August 7, 2020, the pilot then led Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s deputies to the location of the cannabis plants. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The thirteen cannabis plants were seized, and Barber was later arrested for growing the plants on August 16, 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Barber was issued an appearance ticket for unlawfully growing cannabis and unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd. Barber is scheduled to answer the charges on August 26, 2020 in the Town of Perry Court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Earl W.
