Chad Williams, 49, of Infinity Lane, Rochester, NY, is charged with violating the sex offender registry after a traffic stop at exit 48, NYS Thruway interchange at Batavia, on September 3, 2020 at 11:13a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams was stopped by a Sheriff’s deputy after an observed vehicle and traffic law violation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following an investigation into the violation, Williams allegedly assumed the identity of another person in an attempt to conceal his suspended NYS drivers license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After learning of William’s real identity, he was found to be a parole absconder and wanted by the NYS Department of Correctional and Community Supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Williams was taken into custody and later transferred to the custody of NYS DOCCS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
