On September 24, 2020, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested John C. Garcia, 22, of Wilmington, DE, for criminal possession of a weapon 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0degree, a class C felony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Troopers stopped a vehicle on Rt. 63 in the town of Covington for speeding. Troopers smelled marijuana emanating from the vehicle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n A K-9 search was conducted of the vehicle, and a loaded handgun was in the glove box. Garcia was the passenger in the vehicle and stated that the gun belonged to him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Garcia was placed under arrest and was transported to SP Warsaw for processing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Garcia was arraigned before the Wyoming County Court Judge who remanded him to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $500.00 cash and\/or $2000.00 security bond and\/or $2500.00 partial security bond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Garcia is to return to the town of Covington court in October of 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" PRESS RELEASE On September 24, 2020, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested John C.
