Governor\u2019s Executive Order 203 was issued June 12, 2020 and requires the chief executive to consult with local community stakeholders and develop a reform plan to address policing procedures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure plans are developed through an inclusive process, group members will convene to openly discuss public safety needs in Genesee County. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Policies will be developed that allow for police to protect the public while meeting our local needs. Other community members will be invited to join the panel as the process evolves. All meetings of the committee will be open to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Legislature Chair Rochelle Stein and County Manager L.
