Balogun, 22, of Brooklyn, NY, and charged him with DWAI\/drugs , unlawful possession of marijuana, speeding and passing in a no passing zone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Troopers observed Balogun traveling west on Rt. 20A in the town of Sheldon. He was stopped for speeding and passing on double solid lines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Troopers detected a strong smell of marijuana allegedly emanating from the vehicle. Balogun was placed under arrest after failing multiple field sobriety tests. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Balogun was transported to SP Warsaw where he was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) from the Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Office in which it was determined that Balogun was under the influence of marijuana while operating a vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was released with appearance tickets for the town of Sheldon court, he is due to appear in October 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 19, 2020, at 10:20 a.m., Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Gabriel A.
