Nicholas B. Turnquist, 35, of Reading Rd., West Falls, NY, is charged with rape 1st degree after a multi-county investigation into a series of sex offenses that occurred at various locations in Genesee, Wyoming and Erie Counties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Genesee County the incident occurred on Allegany road in Darien on August 23, 2014. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turnquist was virtually arraigned in the Town of Darien Court today at 9:00a.m., and ordered held without bail. He is currently being held at the Wyoming County Jail on related charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Turnquist was arrested for Predatory Sexual Assault against a Child following the execution of a search warrant with the assistance from the East Aurora Police Department and FBI at 1814 Reading Road, Town of Aurora in Erie County, on April 1, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned before Wyoming County Court Judge Michael Mohun and was committed to the Wyoming County Jail on $500,000 bail on that charge.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
