When fire crews arrived on scene, the barn was fully engulfed and had partially collapsed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fire Chief Dan Coffey says crews were in a defensive mode and worked to quell the heavy flames that threatened the residence just a short distance away from the burning barn. No one was inside the barn at the time. One of the homeowners was home and spotted the fire and called 911. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While the barn and it&#8217;s contents are a total loss, the residence was spared. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coffey says the fire is under investigation, but they are looking into an external fire that got into the barn. &#8220;There was some burning today and we are looking at that as a potential cause,&#8221; says Coffey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There were no injuries in the fire.
