On December 8, 2020, Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies apprehended Andre L. Roberts, 28, of Burrows St., Rochester, following an investigation into an incident that occurred on October 21, 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roberts allegedly resisted arrest while being taken into custody, which resulted in a deputy being injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roberts is charged with assault on a police officer and resisting arrest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned in Genesee County Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roberts is scheduled to re-appear in court on January 8, 2021 at 11:00a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case is being investigated by Deputy Erik Andre, with assistance from Deputy Jonathan Dimmig, Deputy Jeremy McClellan and Deputy Kenneth Quackenbush.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
