The Attica Police Department initiated an investigation into a violation of an order of protection between Juan A. Roman, 39, of Bergen and a female victim on August 14, 2017 in Attica.<\/p>\n

A complete stay away order of protection had been issued on July 21, 2017 by the City of Batavia Court from the previous charges of unlawful imprisonment 1st,<\/sup> assault 3rd<\/sup> and criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation between the Roman and the female victim.<\/p>\n

An arrest warrant was obtained and with the assistance of the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, Roman was located and taken into custody without further incident.<\/p>\n

Roman is charged with two counts of criminal contempt 1st,(telephone communication and prior conviction within 5 years)<\/p>\n

He was then arraigned before Wyoming County Judge M. Mohun and was committed to Wyoming County Jail on no bail.\u00a0 Roman is to re-appear in Attica Village Court on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 10:00 am<\/p>\n
