Jeffrey Martin, 38, of Niagara Falls, NY, was arrested following a traffic complaint on West Park Street in the Village of Castile on August 19, 2017. Deputies responded to a call of possible motor vehicle accident.<\/p>\n
During the investigation, it was discovered that Martin did strike a mailbox with his vehicle, causing minor damage to his vehicle. Martin failed roadside field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DWI. He submitted to a breath test which showed his BAC to be above the legal limit.<\/p>\n
Martin is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, and moving from a lane unsafely.<\/p>\n
He was arraigned in the Village of Castile Court, released upon his own recognizance and is to appear in Castile Court at a later date.<\/p>\n

The Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Office reports the arrest of Matthew Wendt, 31, of Angelica on August 16, 2017, on a warrant out of Warsaw Village Court for failure to pay a fine.<\/p>\n
Wendt was taken into custody at a residence on Water Street in the Village of Perry without incident and then transported to the Village of Warsaw Court where he was arraigned by Justice Hyjek.<\/p>\n
Wendt was released after paying the remaining balance on his fines.<\/p>\n
