Jacob J. Russell, 21,of Byron, is charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies, and was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, a class A misdemeanor, after he was arrested on Tuesday afternoon by members of the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force after the execution of a bench warrant that was issued by the Town of Byron Court.<\/p>\n
During the arrest, Russell was allegedly found in possession of heroin. The investigation also revealed that Russell allegedly gave a quantity of heroin to another person.<\/p>\n
Russell was arraigned in Byron Town Court and jailed on $50,000 cash bail.<\/p>\n

Chad E. Alwardt, 37, of Byron, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th, a class A misdemeanor, after he was arrested Tuesday afternoon by members of the Genesee County Drug Task Force on a bench warrant issued out of Genesee County Court.<\/p>\n
Alwardt was being taken into custody and was allegedly found to be in possession of heroin.<\/p>\n
Alwardt is currently being held in the Genesee County Jail and will appear in\u00a0 Byron Town Court on September 11, 2017.<\/p>\n

Lindsay Goins, 61, of State St., Batavia, is charged with falsely reporting an incident to a police officer on September 5, 2017 after an incident on State street.<\/p>\n
