A shoplifting complaint from an employee at the Dollar General in Perry has led to charges against a Perry couple.<\/p>\n

Lisa Uveino (Braymiller), 37, was arrested for petit larceny and conspiracy 6th and David Purdy, 34, was arrested for conspiracy 6th on August 24, 2017.<\/p>\n

An employee at Dollar General told police she saw Purdy attempt to stand in the way of security cameras while Uveino allegedly placed a box of sinus headache medicine, valued at $3.00, in her purse.<\/p>\n

Both then left the store. Both Purdy and Uveino were arrested by Officers Greg Smith and Timothy Bryant on the charges.<\/p>\n

Purdy was released on recognizance and will appear in court at a later date.<\/p>\n

Uveino, who currently is on probation, was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail without bail.<\/p>\n
